Training Presentations

Training Presentations are a hybrid-video training format meant to provide a high-resolution, comprehensive component to EHS training on a large selection of topics. Not only does this format make it easy to train anywhere, it also makes a great companion to any facility’s EHS curriculum. 

Finding Training Presentations 

On your dashboard, navigate to the right-hand rail and find the book icon. This is the Training Library, where Training Presentations live.

After clicking in, you’ll see Training Materials, which display the major types of Training content within the Library.

These are displayed as tabs on top, with Training Presentations as one of them. Click on the tab, and you’ll be presented with Presentations that can be sorted and filtered between.

Like the Resource Library, the Training Library contains pages of content that can be saved to collections and shared or bookmarked for later retrieval. 

Important Features of a Training Presentation

Upon clicking into a Training Presentation, you'll find that there's a few key pieces of information describing it. This is an 'Overview'. For example:

Training Frequency: This is the standard timeline within which an employee should be training or retrained on a topic, in accordance with compliance standards.

Summary: This is a brief description, or outline of the presentation. It goes over the key details of the presentation topics.

Language: The language the presentation was recorded and/or written in. 

Topic: The subject of the presentation.

Learning Objective(s): These are the core takeaways from the presentation. It's the goal of the trainer to reinforce these objectives, as these are the keystone of the training itself. It can also be used as a good reference to understand what should be retained for an employee in the future.

Training Presentations in Course Collections 

Training individuals on important safety topics has never been easier. You’ll notice this as soon as you begin consuming Training Presentations. The largest difference you’ll see is that EHS Hero presents you with training content related to the presentation you’ve selected.  

These may be PowerPoints, Handouts, Quizzes and other materials to craft the perfect course for employees on a particular subject. 

1d. A Course Collection for Asbestos Training 

Each separate piece of content can be downloaded on its own – or downloaded together. You can even save to collections to share with your team or bookmark for later retrieval, to build a truly personal training plan for your team. 

How To View an Audiovisual Presentation

 Once you've reached a piece of content that interests you, click the Play button on the right hand side within the Course Collection. This is will open a tab with the presentation inside:
