Creating Quick Links

Quick Links are designed to provide an easy way to save frequently used external links within HR Hero. This feature allows users to access important information, such as their company intranet, with just one click, keeping it seamlessly integrated into their workflow.

On a user’s dashboard Quick Links can be found in the lower right corner, below News. On a newly-created dashboard, or a dashboard without any Links, there will be no default Links. No worries, creating one is easy.

Adding a New Quick Link

Assembling a new Quick Link isn’t difficult at all and can be done in a few simple steps.

First, click on the Edit Pencil on the right side of the Title. After being clicked, this will open a popup containing space for existing Links, as well as the flow for creating a new one:

Next, go to the top right-hand corner of the popup and click the ‘Add New’ button. This will initiate the process for creating a Quick Link. You’ll then be prompted to fill out several text fields for the main details of your Quick Link, such as its Title, Description, and the URL.

Switch the "Share this quick link with your team" toggle to make the quick link visible to all users in your membership.

After these details are filled in, you’ll receive a confirmation and you’ll be able to find your new link on both your dashboard and in Manage Quick Links:

Managing Your Quick Links

After creating a few Quick Links, you’ll begin to notice that they’ll stack on your dashboard, and within the Manage Quick Links Widget. That’s normal and is meant to make multiple Quick Links manageable.

You can sort these to your liking, and even delete them, all from this popup:
