Customizing Your Notifications in EHS Hero
Notifications are an easy, non-intrusive way to stay updated with important information across your experience within EHS Hero. We’ve updated how notifications are configured, as well as their presentation to keep your on track.
Finding Your Notifications
On your dashboard, head to the top right corner and look for the bell icon next to the logout button.
Clicking the bell icon will expand the notification panel, where HR Hero content updates notifications will appear.
From this dropdown, you can interact with notifications to view specific content.
Notification Center
Think of the Notification Center as your control hub for notifications. Here, you can opt-in for specific updates you want to receive via the Notification Bell. These updates come from several sources:
Topic Analysis Updates - Notifies you when a new Topic Analysis Topic is published or when existing topic content is updated.
News Updates - Alerts you when a new News Article is posted to HR Hero.
New Training Materials - Informs you when new training materials are added to HR Hero.
Shared Collections - Admins can share collections with other users within their membership. Enabling this setting allows child users to see when a collection has been shared with them.
Notifications from these components may begin to accumulate over time, and to avoid that, we’ve allowed notifications to stack. We’ve also allowed them to refresh weekly to avoid you from becoming overwhelmed.
Now that you’ve seen what kinds of settings there are in the Notification Center, let’s find it.
Finding The Notification Center
Navigate to the bottom of the left-hand rail and click on the gear icon, this will take you to Settings.
Here, you’ll see the Notification Center at the top.
And it’s that simple! You’re well on your way to becoming a notifications maestro. You can opt-in and out from here. Some of your notifications may be subscription dependent, so make sure to check with your Administrator.
