My Preferences

We recommend you set your preferences the first time you log into HR Hero. Setting your preferences before navigating through HR Hero allows for a more customized view that fits your needs. You can adjust these settings later if needed. 




To update your preferences, hover over My Account in the top right corner of the page and select Settings.


You can do the following on the My Preferences page:

  • Select your Default State.
    The state you select will show by default when you are conducting your State and Federal Topic Analysis.


  • As an administrator, you also have the option to lock your sub-user's dashboard.
    This option prevents your additional users from rearranging their dashboard and keeps the dashboard widget arrangement consistent across all users.


  • Toward the bottom of My Preferences, check the box next to the Widget Name to indicate whether you see or don’t see widgets on the Dashboard and/or Tools page.


By checking and unchecking the “Visible On Dashboard” and “Visible On Tools” boxes, you can customize where you want to view your custom widgets and tools within HR Hero.




 
The pages you see under the My Account tab are dependent on the privileges set by your administrator. This manual displays the full HR Hero suite subscription, with all pages active.
