Compliance Resources are resources that are meant to be consumed to adhere or comply with a law or piece of legislation. There are many of these within the Resource Library, and it’s easy getting accustomed to them.
What Are Compliance Resources?
There are three primary types of Compliance Resources:
Guidance Documents
These documents are statements issued by an agency or organization that provides information or direction on how to interpret or implement policies. This isn’t a law on its own, basically just a nice explanation.
Plans
Plans are comprehensive pieces of legislation (from either a federal or state level, sometimes both) that include fundamental steps for individuals to follow. Following the steps outlined in the plan for a specific topic ensures compliance with a particular law or ordinance.
Checklists
These are informational guides, usually released by a government agency or organization that don’t necessarily involve any laws or rules to follow but are meant to educate on a practice or concern.
How To Find Compliance Resources
From the Resource Library, you’ll see Compliances Resources as one of the tabs at the top. After clicking in, this is where you’ll see the home for Compliance Resources.
1a. The Compliance Resources tab
From here, you can scroll through pages of different pieces of content, but like the rest of the library - you can view all on the top right. Inside of view all, you can search and filter through Compliance Resources, and if there’s anything that catches your eye, you can save and bookmark from here as well.
