The EPA has introduced key updates, including final rules for managing hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), approval of California’s warehouse emissions regulation, proposed additions of PFAS substances to the Toxics Release Inventory, and sustainable purchasing recommendations. SCOTUS has declined to pause a Clean Air Act regulation and will determine proper venues for EPA-related cases. Vermont has been directed to improve its NPDES oversight or risk losing authority. New training resources cover hazardous waste management and emergency preparedness, while updates to Nevada’s aboveground storage tank regulations have been made. Additionally, the upgraded EHS Hero platform, launching this winter, will feature enhanced dashboards, navigation tools, and research capabilities to elevate safety program management.
